CORRECTION ALERT!
When you say $i = 1 you don’t say that $i equeals 1, you ASSIGN the value 1 to the variable $i.

Yeah, so what? In every programming-language = means ‘assign’, while == means ‘equals’. It is very vital to be able to place in to words excactly what you’re doing from the very beginning. Else you will end up making a fool of yourself, like this guy.
