i am trying to buy abook to learn more about PHP programming

I’m taking a php class, but my professor would rather talk about servers, networking and plesk instead of php codes. Do you know any websites that can give you information or tips on php? I really want to pass my class. I need to learn php, and my textbook doesn’t explain very well!

There is nothing wrong with w3schools, I just want to explore different sites with different styles of ways of teaching php. Thanks for the information though.

I’m trying to use 8px font on a website, but when I use Arial font-style the font turns to a grey. I need a different font-family or other CSS font attributes to change to make it legible.

I want to share what I’ve learned about C programming. What web sites will host my tutorial?

I am not good at web design but would still like to offer web design services. Do you know of any companies that offer a commission per sale for a website? I do not want to create a website and have an affiliate link, I would rather go to local businesses and see if they are interested in having a website created for them.

So basically I go to a business, see if they want a website. If they do, somehow I can refer them to a company and make a certain amount per sale.

Do you have any companies in mind?

My CSS looks good in Mozilla..but looks terrible in IE….is there a code to make it look the same or do I have to lose my mind and keep guessin the pixel margins so that it looks good in both?

I’ll be graduating at the end of this year, from my web design and web development courses. Is it still a good time to start a web design business? And is it realistic to aim to earn £100K per year from web design and web development?
