Yellow- So you are of the impression that only people who are JUST graphic designers do graphic designs? There are no other fields where that skill comes in handy?

Many jobs prefer that you have some web design skills in addition to graphic design. The web is really growing, and there is much more of a need for it. I would say any corporate job in the marketing department, or doing graphic design work for any business.

There are a lot of jobs out there. They are just hard to find, but so many things use graphic design, such as magazine or catalog layout, logo designing, CD or album art, billboard design, marketing or advertising, just to name a few. There are opportunities out there, you just have to go after them.

Graphic design and web design skills usually go hand in hand with creativity and aesthetic sense. As long as you have those two attributes, you can succeed in a wide variety of roles. For more on jobs and careers for design professionals, visit:

A marketing position in any company will utilize many of the skills you utilize as a graphic designer.
In addition, many companies would benefit from employees at any level with a graphic design background. Sign installation companies, small print shops, and even many print directories currently use only rudimentary graphic design, so graphic design skills in those businesses could dramatically increase business.
In addition, many car dealerships totally outsource web design for $1000s a month. An inhouse designer would save many dealerships a lot of money.
